• Thou shalt establish a BUDGET and stick to it.

• Thou shalt always buy a diamond with a certified LABORATORY REPORT.

• Thou shalt determine that the diamond purchased is NOT a CONFLICT diamond.
• Thou shalt always verify the REPUTATION of thy Diamond Merchant.

• Thou shalt be aware of the INFLUENCING TECHNIQUES that may be used against thee by diamond salespeople.

• Thou shalt remember the tenet “everything is negotiable” and NEGOTIATE vigorously but fairly with good humour.

• Thou shalt get thy diamond ring INSURED.
