Sheikh Rashid Hall at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre will host some of the biggest names in Football at the DH100,000 Dubai International Football Championship, starting on Wednesday. Four UAE based teams will pit their wits against the Spanish giants Real Madrid and FC Barcelona as part of the biggest ever indoor sports event held in the UAE.
The five a side tournament which has been organized by the Dubai World Trade Centre in conjunction with Dubai Sports Council, will run over three days. During this period there will be three matches on each of the days, starting at 9.30 and running until 12.30. The draw for the competition was held on Tuesday revealing then line up of games for the event.
One of the biggest global sensations will soon be rocking UAE as American superstar Pitbull comes to Dubai to sing live in his Planet Pit World Tour. The singer who based his stage name on the dog that 'bites to lock' has been going from strength to strength since the success of his debut album 'M.I.A.M.I' and the chart topping Culo in 2004.
